The Eagle FishElite 480 takes the sport of fishing and turns it into a technological dream. With the highly usable features on board this system, you are sure to not only locate and bring in your fish but also to impress your friends with your new toy. Let’s get right to the features as the Eagle FishElite 480 has many to talk about.

We’ll start with the display and sonar. The Eagle FishElite 480offers an LCD five inch diagonal screen. It is displayed in high definition 480×480 resolution. The screen and the keypad have a backlight to allow for fishing in dark hours of the days as well. What you get in this display is a good looking, 16 level grayscale that will provide for you a good, black and white picture of the bottom and of the waters below. When your sonar beams back to your boat, you’ll have a clear enough picture to understand what’s there and to bring it in.

The sonar is also high quality. In fact, you can digitally record and play sonar graphs and GPS trip details with its memory cards. The sonar has a depth of 800 feet which is great for most lakes. It has a high performance transducer which can detect some of the smallest items even while your boat is cruising at 70 miles per hour. Why is this good? It gives you all the details. What’s below you? Where is it hiding? It will tell you where the bottom is and where the fish is and it will tell you with details what your fish is up to. All this helps you to tailor your bait and cast so that you can bring home lots of fish every time.

Imagine knowing what fish are below you.. It takes the frustrating guesswork out of fishing. There’s no guarantee of a big catch, but with the Eagle Fish Elite 480 it’s close.

But, that is not all the Eagle FishElite 480 has to offer. Is also comes with pretty powerful GPS + WAAS technology. That means it will help you get out to your hotspot, help you to find a new one and will help you get back home without getting lost. Imagine finding those hidden coves anywhere the fish are simply teaming!

You can do all of this with the Eagle FishElite 480.

Mount Your Fishfinder Right To Your Fishing Rod - Humminbird SmartCast RF 20

Okay, to make the Humminbird line even better, now you can mount your fishfinder right to your fishing rod.  Really, does it get much simpler than that?  It’s perfect for you if you can’t attach a fishfinder to your kayak or fishing tube, or you are fishing from the bank. We don’t think you’ll find an easier way to cast your line and see where it lands than by using the RF 20.  It allows you to use your hands while you watch what’s happening below the surface.  This could be one of the best features you can have on your fishing rod.  Let’s take a look at the features that it offers you.

The RF 20 uses Remote Sonar Sensor (RSS) technology.  This is one of the most effective means of knowing what is under the water as well as know what’s out ahead of you.  This is helpful because it allows you to know just where you need to go to get your fish.  Should you cast straight ahead or should you go slightly to the east?  You can cast upto 100 feet from your boat or the bank, and it will read upto 100 feet in depth. Then reel it back in. Or attach your bait to the RSS and get a real-time view of what’s happening to your cast. This is superb for getting a good look at what’s below and what’s far out.

You get One-Touch menu navigation to your tools such as FishID+, depth range, fish alarm, and sensitivity.  This provides you with simplicity in that you can easily move through your needs while keeping one hand on your line.  As for the sonar, you get ultra wide sonar coverage that is equal to twice the water’s depth.  This is important as you need powerful sonar to see what’s below you.  This gives you the ability to know where to cast and what to use as bait.

As for the display, we think you will be impressed by the RF 20.  It has a high visibility 1 ¼ inch diagonal display with 48V by 32H resolution.  The RF 20 has 100 feet in remote operation range and 100 feet in depth capability.  This translates into some nice range that will allow you a good idea of what’s lurking out there.  You get a clear, easy to read digital depth display as well.  It includes one waterproof A channel RSS.  Get this out there and it will transmit back to you what you need to know!  We think that this RF 20 is an excellent option for the fish finder!

Humminbird Fishfinder 535 - One Of The Best Portable Fishfinders Around

Friday, June 30th, 2006

humminbird-535-portable-small.jpg

So you are looking for a portable fishfinder? Not a problem when you use the Humminbird 535. This fishfinder is one of the best portables around because it offers a nice, large screen that is clear as well as offering you some of the best in Fishfinder technology out there. Let’s take a closer look to see how this portable unit can benefit just about any fish finding adventure.

We should start with the display. It is a high definition, 320V by 320V, five inch UltraBlack with contrast enhancement. This is important to note because it is a relatively large screen for a portable unit. On top of that, it offers a good, high definition black and white contrast so that you get a clear picture of what is happening below your boat.

And, how will it deliver this picture? It uses a 20 degree single beam of sonar that is optimized for coverage and precision details of the bottom. 20 degrees gets you an image of not only what is below your boat but also what is next to it. This will help you know if you need to shift one way or another to lure your fish.

But, it offers even more.

You get reliability as well, that goes from the shallowest of water to that which is 800 feet. Perfect for just about any location. The sonar itself is amazing in that it is Real Time Sonar which will deliver for you a picture that is virtually instant. This allows you to follow your prey and know just where its headed immediately.

Another feature worth mentioning is the Sonar Echo Enhancement. This allows you to see even the smallest of jigs to a depth of 40 feet. You can actually watch as your bait lures in your fish. You can see him latch on as well! Imagine that!

Of course, being portable, you can easily move it from place to place. It comes with a rugged case powered by 2 lantern batteries. Perfect for the waters ahead no matter the conditions.
